May 26, 2018 - Happy Memorial Day — Happy Memorial Day to all who have served! A little bit of misty rain doesn’t keep our worker bees inside. Volunteers fixed the railings, added some runners, and replaced a couple of broken pieces on this bridge on trail 5, just across the street from the old Crossroads Trading Post this morning. One less item on or off-season To Do list! Thanks to Phil Garran (Club President), Bob and Karin Thody, and Kim Davis.

April 7, 2018 - Club Meeting

Sno-Scramblers minutes 4/7/18

Present: Larry Russ, Ron Garvin, Phil Garran, Terry Lewis, Paul Osgood, Kim Davis, Bob Thody, Karin Thody, Glenn McKinley

Larry called to order at 9:00 AM

Ron updated everyone on the gun raffle.

Treasurers report read and accepted.

- Cash on hand $5413.

New County officers elected last week are:

- Tom Trottier, Treasurer

- Julianne Sherman, Director

- Larry Russ, Alternate Director.

Scramblers had 117 members this year, vs last year 114.

- We talked about promoting Scrambler TMA's, a free map or a SD card with trails, apparel were a few of the ideas.

Update from the Trishman project:

- We have received $5889.72 worth of parts on our $12,000 investment. The bulk of the remainder is tied up in belts and cleat that we may never see. Ron and company plan a visit to Trishman on the 11th to see if we can recover anything.

- A certified letter may be our next move.

Motion passed to pay Josh Allen $132.00 for grooming. We will submit the miles to the county for reimbursement.

March 2018 Club Meeting Minutes

Sno-Scrambler minutes March Meeting

March 13, 2017

Meeting opened at 7:15

Members present: Paul Osgood, Phil Garran, Glenn McKinley, Larry Russ, Adam Osgood

1. Sec. Report read and accepted

2. No treasurers report.

3. There was a plan in place to have Kieth Trishman at the meeting, he did not come.

- There was much discussion about cutting ties with Keith as soon as possible, we unfortunately still have unfinished business with Keith.

4. Raymond Covey's property needs a culvert. There was an apple tree adjacent to the trail that was damaged by a piece of unknown equipment, the tree was pushed over.

5. Dr. Levy needs a culvert on his property, a 30”

6. We need to repair a bridge on Tenny Road, 35' steel would be ideal. The bridge is on the Dubois property.

The next meeting is April 10th - Possibly to be rescheduled to allow members from out of state to attend.

Orange County Snowmobile Clubs Gun Raffle The Orange County Snowmobile Clubs are sponsoring a Gun Raffle. The attached copy of the ticket tells you all about the raffle. There are 7 guns to be raffled off and only 500 tickets sold! Great odds! The drawing will be held on April 2nd, 2018. Message or email us to get yours now!

January 9, 2018 - Club Meeting

Sno-Scramblers Minutes 1/9/18

Members present: Jeff Slack, Glenn McKinley, Ron Garvin, Phil Garran, Paul Osgood, Jim King, Larry Russ

1. Called to order at 7:03

2. Sec. Report read and accepted

3. Treasures report was long, complicated, read, and accepted.

4. Trails report: We have good riding conditions and still have a lot of brush to cut. Ice in the trees have bent

many branches down.

5. Groomer issues:

- Broke a leaf spring, (main) and a blown head gasket. Repairs are in the works.

- Still need 2 tracks to go on the rear.

6. Signs: We need green flags, reflectors, arrows, stop, and stop ahead.

7. Bliss came up one short on TMA's. We are looking into it.

8. Larry will set up a tax exempt account with Dead River.

December 15, 2017 - Club Meeting

Sno-scramblers Minutes 12/15/17

Members present: Terry, Paul, Donna, Jim, Jeff, Phil, Ron, Glenn, Larry

Called to order @ 7pm

- Sec. report read and accepted

- Treasures report read and accepted

- The culvert project came in under budget, $1400 vs. $2000. We have a few more to do next year on White road. About $900. for 3.

- Tucker update:

- Waiting for a few more parts to come in, most of the work is done. Welding will be taking place this weekend on the tracks.

- The operators talked about plans for log sheets and scheduling.

- The drag is ready to go.

- The fuel tank has 150 gallons in it.

- Terry and Mitch rerouted the trail from Fairlee town Forrest to Blood Brook Road. The new trail is one we used years ago. Arrows have been turned, all the blow downs have been removed.

- We may have a last minute reroute in the works, during the meeting we got a call about an issue with James Perkins from Gunther Lane. We will be looking into that very soon.

November 7, 2017 - Club Meeting

Sno-Scramblers Meeting Minutes - November 7, 2017

Members present: Jeff, Glenn, Phil, Larry, Paul

Opened at 7:00 pm

Secretary's report read and accepted

No Treasurer's report

County meeting report from Glenn

Paul reported on northern trails. He has over 40 hours so far. Northern trails are done.

Keith Trischman submitted a progress report, unfortunately he was no able to attend the meeting.

We have a culvert going in on White Road 3' x 20'. cost estimate is $2000.00

We also have a bridge being decked over H beams, the estimate is $1800.00 for lumber.

Paul said we may need a few gates for a landowner, Larry said he has some on hand.

Trail work will pause during the hunting season which opens this Saturday (November 11, 2017), starting back up Early in December.

Glenn got permission from Ann Stephens to operate a UTV in the Brushwood forest for trail maintenance.
